K&L Gates adds two London corporate partners

Law firm K&L Gates has added Carl L. Liederman and Keith Snedden as partners in its London corporate practice.

Liederman joins K&L Gates from Arnold & Porter, where he served as head of the European corporate group.

Snedden arrives from Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, where he previously headed the firm’s corporate team.

Liederman counsels on a wide range of corporate and transactional areas, including mergers and acquisitions, complex joint ventures, capital markets, and technology and outsourcing agreements. He has advised clients on matters throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

"K&L Gates offers an unparalleled platform for an international transactional lawyer," says Leiderman. "I have been extraordinarily impressed by the firm’s management, strategy, and remarkable expansion worldwide. I now can serve my clients across the globe, from London to Los Angeles, Pittsburgh to Paris, Washington to Warsaw, and San Francisco to Shanghai. I am honoured to be a part of the firm."

Snedden assists clients in the financial services, information technology, engineering, healthcare and other sectors on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, take-overs, and equity offerings.

"K&L Gates’ international reach and strong corporate practice provide the ideal platform for me to service the transactional needs of my clients in all parts of the globe," says Snedden. "I am delighted to join such a dynamic firm."

Tony Griffiths, administrative partner of the firm’s London office, adds: "Both Carl and Keith’s considerable experience in dealing with pan-European, complex M&A assignments perfectly complement K&L Gates’ existing multinational corporate practice. We are pleased to welcome these two senior corporate partners."
