Pomona Capital hires Sebastien Bowen in London

Private equity firm Pomona Capital has hired Sebastien Bowen in London team as an investment director to focus on secondary investment analysis and deal sourcing in Europe. 



Bowen has over eight years of primary and secondary fund investing experience.

Prior to joining Pomona Capital, he was a director at MetLife Investments and was previously at Axa Private Equity in London where he spent most of his career. 

Bowen joined Axa Private Equity in 2002 where he focused predominantly on primary and secondary private equity opportunities in Europe.

Other recent additions to the Pomona Capital global team include Vivian Mandis, who joined as a managing director to lead the firm’s investor relations efforts. Katrina Cokeng, based in Hong Kong, joined Pomona Capital as a vice president to focus on primary and secondary investment analysis and deal sourcing in Asia. Based in London, Michael Cronin joined the firm as a senior associate to focus on secondary investment analysis and deal sourcing in Europe.

All three hires have extensive experience in the private equity and financial services industry. Mandis has been in the alternatives product space for ten years and formerly held both investor relations and marketing roles with Goldman Sachs in the Merchant Banking Division and FrontPoint Partners. Cokeng has spent the last four years at McKinsey, the last two of which were spent in Hong Kong. Cronin was an associate at Spectrum Equity Investors, a US-based private equity firm focused on business services and media investments.
