Bichot & Associes, the new corporate law firm dedicated to M&A/private equity, advised the Fonds Strategique D’Invetissements (FSI) regarding its investment in the Altrad group, one of the main players in Europe for the sale and the lease of devises in the construction and manufacturing area.
The purpose of the EUR45m contributed is to support the growth strategy of the group. Indeed, Mohed Altrad has successfully implemented an internal and external growth strategy for 25 years, ensuring a strong position in Europe thanks to its original model.
The FSI, having joined BNP Paribas Développement, CM-CIC Capital Finance and Synergie Finance which invested in the group earlier this year, on the same base value, will be able to contribute an additional EUR25m amount depending on Altrad group’s financial needs during the next 12 months.
Bichot & Associes team was led by Nicolas Bichot and Charles van den Broek (partners in charge of the structuring and the negotiations), assisted by Aurélie Thomas-Magnin (associate).
