Cordea Savills appoints Jon Crossfield as head of investment mandates

Cordea Savills has appointed Jon Crossfield as head of investment mandates.

As a member of Cordea Savills’ executive committee, Crossfield will be responsible for the firm’s fast growing investment mandate programme targeting institutions, family offices and private equity funds.

Crossfield joins Cordea Savills from Savills, where he spent 10 years and was latterly a director in its investment advisory team, specialising in advising overseas owners investing in the UK.  In this role he has built up significant experience in acquiring assets on behalf of a number of German and Scandinavian institutions.

Previously, Crossfield worked with the UK and European investment teams at both DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle.  He has extensive experience of acquisitions, development funding and sales both in the UK and internationally.

Justin O’Connor, chief executive of Cordea Savills, says: “We are delighted that Jon has decided to join Cordea Savills to lead our investment mandate programme.  We have already put together a number of standing investment and development opportunities in the UK for clients and Jon will be instrumental in building out this programme including to new markets.”

Crossfield says: “Joining Cordea Savills is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong team to expand the firm’s investment mandate business.  More investors are now looking to maintain ownership and ultimate control of their real estate assets but outsource the origination, structuring and management to investment managers acting in their best interests. Cordea Savills is extremely well positioned to benefit from this trend with its proven capability to outperform the market.”
