Infradebt selects SS&C's asset management platform

Infradebt, an Australian infrastructure debt manager specialising in customised investment strategies, has chosen SS&C's asset management platform.

Infradebt will use SS&C for the position-keeping, valuation and accounting for both traditional and non-traditional asset classes including infrastructure and complex debt instruments.

The new technology infrastructure will automate processes, reduce costs and provide flexibility and support for the firm's next phase of growth.

"After a comprehensive review of the market for a solution, SS&C stood apart from the rest and thorough testing showed they could support our requirements," says Alexander Austin, chief executive officer, Infradebt. "We were impressed with the breadth of full asset coverage, compliance functionality, integrated GL and the modern look and feel of the SS&C platform. We also liked their ability to deliver the solution on a 'cloud' basis so we didn't need to establish an IT department."

"An important factor in Infradebt's decision to partner with SS&C is our strong offering for non-traditional asset managers with an easy-to-use web front-end, available 24/7," says Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer, SS&C Technologies. "Coupled with our class-leading cloud infrastructure, SS&C effectively provides a future proof investment management solution."
