D5 Capital sells stake in WalkMe for 3.5x return

D5 Capital, the media and technology investment and M&A advisor, has secured a cash exit from WalkMe, the interactive online guidance and engagement platform.

D5 Capital’s investor network and super-angel Ran Tushia participated in WalkMe’s Series A investment round in 2012.

The exit has delivered investors a 3.5x gain over the investment period (88 per cent IRR).

Rupert Ashe, CEO of D5 Capital, says: “We are delighted to have participated in the growth of WalkMe, which is an innovative SaaS platform for guiding users through their online journeys. Our investors have enjoyed a very strong return, demonstrating once again that our careful identification of exciting technologies and business models can deliver above average returns for private investors.”
