Nexxus Capital acquires El Farolito, Taco Inn and Nuny’s
Nexxus Capital, through Taco Holding and a group of co-investors, has invested in three restaurant chains in Mexico.
The chains are El Farolito; Taco Inn; and Nuny’s Yogurt.
Taco Holding is a portfolio company of Nexxus Capital IV Trust and Nexxus Capital Private Equity Fund V.
After closing these investments, Taco Holding’s retail locations total 470 mainly in Mexico, 398 of which are company owned stores and 72 are franchises, among its nine different quick service restaurant concepts: Krispy Kreme (bakery), El Farolito (tacos and Mexican food), Taco Inn (tacos), Sbarro (Italian food and salads), Arrachera House (Mexican quick service steakhouse), Sixties Burger (grilled hamburgers), Café Diletto (coffee shops and coffee retailing), Nuny’s Yogurt (yogurt ice cream) and Neve Gelato (gelatos).
