Bridges Ventures has appointed James Hurrell as an investment manager in its sustainable growth funds team.
Bridges’ third Sustainable Growth Fund, which closed earlier this year at GBP125m, is expanding its portfolio.
Hurrell joins from ISIS Equity Partners where he was an associate director. There he was responsible for making new investments as well as portfolio work with existing investments. He maintained a particular focus on healthcare and education, with completed deals including Create Health (a provider of fertility services) and YSC (a firm of business psychologists).
Prior to ISIS, he was an associate with DC Advisory where he worked in the leisure and retail sector team in London after helping to set up a new M&A office in Manchester.
