KKR appoints Haroun van Hövell as a Head of the EMEA Energy Team

KKR has appointed Haroun van Hövell as a Managing Director and the Head of its Energy Team covering Europe, Middle East and Africa.


Haroun van Hövell joined KKR from Riverstone Holdings, where he was a Managing Director and responsible for sourcing and managing investments across the energy industry, with a particular focus on the exploration & production and midstream sectors. Haroun’s prior experience also includes 4Gas Holding, The Carlyle Group and Salomon Smith Barney.

Johannes Huth, member and head of KKR EMEA, says: “I am delighted that Haroun is joining our team here in London as we continue to build our energy team both in Europe and globally.
