Private investment firm Colony Capital has appointed Philippe M Costeletos as Principal and Chairman of International.
Based in Colony’s London office, Costeletos, 49, will principally be responsible for identifying new investments outside of the United States, while also taking a significant role in the firm’s worldwide strategy and operations. He will report to Thomas J. Barrack Jr., Chairman of Colony Capital.
Costeletos was a Partner at TPG Capital, where he served as head of TPG Capital in Europe. Prior to that he was a member of the Management Committee at Investcorp, and also worked at JP Morgan Capital and Morgan Stanley. Costeletos graduated, magna cum laude, with a BA with distinction in Mathematics from Yale University and received an MBA, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Columbia University.
