Jean-Pierre Mustier joins Tikehau Capital as partner

Jean Pierre Mustier has joined Tikehau Capital as a partner. He will be London based and his primary focus will be on Tikehau Capital’s international expansion, whilst also contributing to the various existing businesses.

Before joining Tikehau Capital, Mustier’s career was mainly focused on Corporate & Investment Banking activities at Société Générale, which he joined in 1987. He held numerous senior positions in various markets and financing activities, in Europe, but also in Asia and the US. Member of the bank’s Executive Committee since 2003, he headed Société Générale's Corporate & Investment Banking Division (2002-2008) and he then took over the responsibility for Asset Management, Private Banking and Securities Services (2008-2009).

In early 2011 he joined UniCredit, Europe’s leading commercial bank, as Deputy General Manager in charge of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division. He was a member of the UniCredit Executive Management Committee. Jean Pierre left UniCredit at the end of December 2014 and has since joined the bank's International Advisory Board.

During 2010, after leaving Société Générale and before joining UniCredit, Jean Pierre advised various financial institutions and completed large amounts of fundraising for various non-profit institutions and social enterprises. 

Mustier, 54, was born in Chamalieres, France. He is graduated of the French École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris.
