David Andrews to join Evercore as a senior MD in energy group

David Andrews has agreed to join the Evermore’s Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Energy Group. 


Andrews will be based in Evercore’s Houston office and will focus on oilfield services and equipment companies. He joins 8 other advisory partners and a team of more than 70 oil and gas advisory professionals in Houston, London, Aberdeen, Mexico City and New York.

Andrews was most recently a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Head of Oilfield Services coverage. He started his career at Lehman Brothers and has over 15 years of experience covering the Oilfield Services sector. He has advised a broad range of clients on strategic initiatives and capital markets solutions including GE Oil & Gas, Weatherford International, Transocean, National Oilwell Varco and Expro among others. His primary areas of focus will be on strategic advisory, equity market solutions, debt advisory and restructuring.

Andrews has an MBA from Rice University and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University. He also served in the US Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer.
