Standard Life Investments, the Global Asset Manager, has made two new appointments to its Infrastructure Debt team.
Alex Campbell joins as Investment Director for Infrastructure Debt and will be responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, preparation and review of infrastructure debt funding proposals. Based at St Mary Axe, London, Alex is an experienced originator and underwriter of long-dated capital market debt with expertise across a range of infrastructure assets both social and economic. He is also experienced in related asset classes such as utilities and real estate financings.
In addition, Marianne Froude has joined as Investment Analyst for the Infrastructure team. Also based at St Mary Axe, Marianne will assist in preparation of debt submissions with particular responsibility for the analysis of detailed cash flow models and financial analysis of counterparties. Marianne will also carry out ongoing management and monitoring of client infrastructure debt portfolios.
Both team members will report to Jeremy Allcock, Head of Infrastructure Debt. The team as a whole reports to Craig MacDonald, Head of Credit for Standard Life Investments.
“These appointments reinforce Standard Life Investments expertise in infrastructure financing,” says Alcock. “Working within the Fixed Income team, the Infrastructure Debt team will provide senior debt to core infrastructure projects in the UK and other selective jurisdictions. Both Alex and Marianne bring a wealth of experience and expertise in this diverse asset class and will be integral members of the credit team as a whole.”
