Jeff Schneble joins Wing Venture Capital

Wing Venture Capita has hired Jeff Schneble as a Partner.

Schneble joins Wing from Silver Lake Partners, where he was an operating executive on the Value Creation team. At Silver Lake he worked with multiple entrepreneurs and teams to grow successful tech companies, including GoDaddy, Mercury Payment Systems, Vantage Data Centers and Fathom. At Wing he will work closely with the firm's founders, Gaurav Garg and Peter Wagner, who have decades of experience building billion-dollar-plus enterprises in rapidly growing industries.

As a Partner, Schneble will lead investments in startups and leverage his operating expertise to help their founders create significant value. His experience will be invaluable in implementing Wing's unique strategy of developing category-defining companies that take advantage of the data-mobile-cloud transformation disrupting business-technology markets.

In addition to his work at Silver Lake, Schneble has also founded several companies and has worked as a technology consultant focused on mobile and semiconductors. He holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington, a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

"I'm 100% focused on helping great entrepreneurs build meaningful, independent companies," says Schneble. "I have tremendous respect for Peter and Gaurav, and I couldn't imagine a better platform than Wing to purse this mission."

"Jeff is a unique individual with rare talent on the dimensions we have found to be most essential to long-term success in venture capital," says Peter Wagner, Founding Partner of Wing. "He shares our vision for a firm singularly devoted to the art of company-building, and we look forward to working together for years to come."

"We are delighted to welcome Jeff to the firm," says Gaurav Garg, Founding Partner of Wing. "His wealth of experience in working with entrepreneurs will help us advance Wing's goal of creating enduring companies that define product categories."
