AlphaPipe launches Form ADV Change Reports service

AlphaPipe has launched Form ADV Change Reports a new service that delivers to investors a monthly change report of all changes made to an asset manager's Form ADV filing.

"Form ADV is publicly available and should be one of your first lines of defence in monitoring your asset managers," says West Chapman, AlphaPipe's CEO formerly of Goldman Sachs, where he served on the Liquid Markets Investment Committee, led the Risk team and built the Operational Due Diligence team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management's (GSAM) external manager businesses.

"Unfortunately, current access to Form ADV makes monitoring cumbersome to impossible. Our monthly service alerts you to who across your portfolio has made updates and identifies the specific changes made, allowing our clients to painlessly harness the full information within Form ADV filings and updates."

Form ADV Change Reports are used by investors monitoring their portfolio of asset managers and vendors monitoring their clients or prospects.

AlphaPipe's unique technology automatically reviews each of the 14,000 managers across the globe and their 37,000 hedge funds, CLOs, private equity and other private fund types that submit Form ADV, to find any and all changes, then generates a specific report with details on all adds, deletes and changers made to any managers Form ADV submission. On average, 10% of all managers update their Form ADV in any given month.
