Duff & Phelps promotes eight managing directors

Global valuation and corporate finance advisor Duff & Phelps has promoted eight new managing directors.

Ann Gittleman is based in New York and is part of the Disputes and Investigations practice, having joined the firm with the recent Kinetic Partners acquisition. Gittleman acts as a consulting and testifying expert to her clients in the financial services industry, with a specialty in the asset management sector.

Mark Kwilosz is based in Chicago and is part of the Transactions Opinions practice. opinions provides fairness opinions, solvency opinions, M&A and other advisory services in a variety of transactions such as public company spin offs, ESOPs and dividend recaps of PE-owned firms, with particular concentration in the industrial products and automotive supply chain sectors.

Alan Lee is based in Toronto and is part of the Disputes and Investigations practice while also contributing to the Valuation Advisory practice. Lee focuses on the mining and natural resources sectors and counts many of the world’s largest mining and oil & gas companies as his clients.

Ryan McNelley is based in London and is part of the Portfolio Valuation practice. He specialises in the valuation of illiquid securities and interests; his clients include alternative asset managers, private equity funds, hedge funds and business development companies both in Europe and the US.

Martin Rubio is based in Houston and is part of the Energy/Oilfield Services M&A Advisory practice. He primarily advises equipment suppliers, distributors, engineering firms, chemical firms and other providers of technical and specialty services to the energy and chemical industries on M&A and recapitalisation assignments.

Bradley Schulz is based in Lisle, Illinois, and is part of the Fixed Asset Management and Insurance Solutions practice; he joined Duff & Phelps with the American Appraisal acquisition. Schulz oversees property insurance appraisals nationally for the religious and airport sectors in addition to managing several FAMIS offices including Atlanta, Dallas, Lisle, Los Angeles and Princeton.

David Scott is based in Dallas and is part of the Portfolio Valuation practice. Scott works in the energy and mining sector and specialises in the valuation of business enterprises and equity and debt interests with a focus on illiquid securities of private equity and hedge funds as well as fund of funds investors.

Mark Simzyk is based in Chicago and is part of the Property Tax practice. Simzyk has expertise in the valuation of oil refineries, petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, steel mills, manufacturing, and utility and power generation facilities.
