Independent alternative asset investment advisory firm MVision has made three senior appointments in the firm’s New York office.
Kay Blackwell and Erica Johnson have joined as Managing Directors and William Riedlinger as Director, significantly strengthening the firm’s capabilities in the USA and globally.
Blackwell joins from Citi Private Bank, where she spent over nine years in both New York and London, responsible for global private equity, real estate and private debt product management. At MVision, she will manage global fundraising efforts for the firm’s clients and work with GPs and investors globally.
Blackwell says: “I am delighted to be joining MVision during this time of expansion within the US and internationally. With offices on both the East and West coasts, the firm is well-placed to respond to the growing demand from local investors to access networks and investment opportunities globally.”
Johnson was most recently Founding Principal of ERJ Group, a boutique placement business. Prior to this, she held a senior role at Guggenheim Partners for six years, in which she represented the firm’s proprietary private equity, real estate, and hedge fund investment vehicles.
Johnson says: “MVision has consistently proved its ability to raise funds and provide solutions for its clients in the face of complex situations and in difficult fundraising environments. I am very much looking forward to working with the well-established team at MVision.”
Riedlinger’s previous roles include Vice President at Barclays Wealth and five years at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, originating, structuring and executing third-party fundraises of private equity and real estate firms to institutional investors globally, which will continue to be his focus at MVision.
Riedlinger says: “In a competitive market, to have long-standing relationships with both emerging and developed general partners across the world is critical. MVision has a renowned international network and I am very much looking forward to deepening their US relations.”
