LBO France has appointed Sophie Chateau as Managing Director within the Investor Relations team, which will now be made up of six members.
Since 2011, Chateau served as Associate Director at Weinberg Capital Partners, with responsibility for investor relations across all activities. In this role, she also oversaw the fund-raising process for both private equity and real estate activities.
Chateau brings with her over 15 years of investment experience. Having begun her career in 1995 in M&A with UBS in Paris, before continuing in London, she joined Chevrillon Candover (1998), subsequently Chevrillon & Associés (2001), an independent private equity firm. She went on to become Director, with responsibility for portfolio companies under LBO, private equity and venture capital. As well her duties as board member, she was also in charge of investments in funds of funds and co-investments (including Picard Surgelés)
Chateau, who is 43, is a graduate of ESCP Europe and member both of the SFAF (French Association of Financial Analysts) and IFA (Institute of Financial Accountants)
