Arma Partners expands Partnership with four senior appointments

Independent communications, media and Technology-focused M&A advisory firm Arma Partners has appointed four new Partners including one new hire and three internal promotions.

David Creamer (Palo Alto) will join Arma as Partner in July, following 25 years of banking experience with RBC Capital Markets and Jefferies. Most recently, Creamer was Global Head of Electronics and Semiconductor Banking at RBC Capital Markets; at Arma, he will lead this practice globally, while working to expand further the firm’s US footprint.

Jan Helle and David Smith (London) have both been promoted to Partner and will co-head the M&A execution function globally. With more than 40 years of M&A advisory experience between them, these seasoned professionals will ensure consistently high standards of execution across the various countries and CMT sub-segments in which Arma operates.

Varun Sunderraman (London) has been promoted to Partner. Hw will continue to develop Arma’s activities in the Technology sector, working in partnership with Managing Partner Paul Guély and the broader European and US Partner group.

Paul Guély, Managing Partner at Arma Partners, says: “We are delighted to announce the addition of four very talented senior bankers to the Partnership. These appointments bring the total number of Partners in the business to ten and further enhance our ability to serve our clients through deep domain expertise and consistently high standards of M&A execution.

“It has been an excellent year for Arma Partners, underpinned by continued strong market fundamentals and liquidity, robust private equity activity and ongoing strategic consolidation across the CMT sector. Our expectations for the year ahead remain strong and we approach it with confidence.”
