GMT Communications Partners, a European independent private equity group focused exclusively on the content, communications infrastructure and tech‐enabled Services markets, has promoted Jean-Sébastien Talbot to Principal.
Talbot (pictured) joined GMT in July 2008 and we are delighted to announce his promotion to Principal with immediate effect. He previously worked with XAnge, a Paris‐based venture capital fund, and with the advertising agency TBWA\Paris. He recently played integral roles in the refinancing of DOCUgroup, a construction industry business information group based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and the sale of DOCUgroup’s Nordic business. His current portfolio responsibilities also include Primesight and Redext, outdoor advertising operators in the UK and Spain respectively.
Talbot specialised in Corporate Finance for his MSc Management Programme from Em-Lyon Business School, Lyon, France. He is a French national, fluent in English and Spanish.
