Investec expands Growth and Acquisition Finance team

Investec Specialist Bank (Investec) has added to its Growth and Acquisition Finance team with the appointment of Steven Ive as an originator. He will report to Gary Edwards, and focus on Asset Based & Cash flow lending to drive growth amongst mid-market companies.

Ive joins from GE Capital Bank (GE) where he was a regional director. During his time at GE Steven was responsible for the development and growth of the GE Asset Based Lending offering in London and the South East. Prior to this Steven spent 6 years at Barclays across a variety of the banks divisions, most recently he was Vice President of Barclays Trade & Working Capital. In his role as Vice President he supported the Southern Region Larger Corporate team where he covered trade finance, asset based lending and was responsible for structuring working capital facilities
