Bessemer Venture Partners promotes Eric Ahlgren to VP

Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), a USD4 billion venture global capital firm, has appointed Eric Ahlgren (pictured) as Vice President. In his new role, Ahlgren will continue to identify entrepreneurial opportunities in promising technology startups.

Since joining BVP in 2013, Ahlgren has focused his investments on data infrastructure, cloud computing and consumer services, being heavily involved in the firm’s investments in Hadapt (acquired by Teradata), Infinio Systems, OneCloud Labs, Xtime (acquired by Cox Automotive), nToggle, Club W, Scratch and others.

"Having worked with Eric for several years, I’ve come to know him to be a wonderful contributor for BVP. He is smart and fact driven, works hard and has developed a ton of expertise,” says Felda Hardymon, Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “He doesn’t shy away from hard questions and he’s always ready with an insightful answer, which makes him a natural fit for our culture and an excellent resource for the entrepreneurs we work with.”
