Charles Yoon (pictured) is to join family-backed investment firm Bregal Partners as Managing Partner. Yoon will continue to focus on investing in growth-oriented companies with proven business models in the consumer, food, specialty retail and healthcare retail space.
Yoon has spent the past twenty years in the middle market private equity space, most recently as Partner at Monitor Clipper Partners. Prior to Monitor Clipper, Charles was a Principal with the LA-based private equity firm, Brentwood Associates. He began his private equity career in 1995 at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the investment process from deal origination and transaction execution to business building initiatives, investment management and ultimate realisation. Charles has acted as a director on the boards of companies such as: My Eye Dr, Castor & Pollux/Merrick Pet Care, Earth Fare, Pilot Automotive, Paradigm Tax Group and Market Track.
