21 Concordia, the Warsaw-based, Polish branch of 21 Partners, has acquired a majority stake in Wójcik Fashion, a leading Polish high-end childrenswear company.
Founded by Ilona Wójcik in 1987, Wójcik manufactures and sells its products under three brands: Wójcik – a prime, well-known Polish brand comprised of casual clothing for boys and girls; Ceremony: – an exclusive collection offering outfits for special occasions; and Lady Diamond – designed for teenage girls and characterised by style and elegance for everyday use.
In addition to a retail network of seven proprietary and 30 franchise stores in Poland, Wójcik distributes wholesale in several countries including Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and the UK. An entirely controlled, in-house production process allows Wójcik to offer some of the best designs and high quality products available on the childrenswear market.
Wójcik’s management team has been reinforced with the appointment of Robert Warnecki, an experienced clothing retail manager. Alongside the company’s Founder, and with the full support of 21 Concordia, Warnecki will accelerate growth by expanding Wójcik’s retail network, strengthening its e-commerce activity and further developing distribution outside of Poland. Wójcik’s efficiency will also be enhanced through additional appointments and structuring.
