Fried Frank adds M&A PE attorney Dr Christian Kleeberg in Frankfurt

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has appointed Dr Christian Kleeberg as a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice, resident in the Firm's Frankfurt office.

Dr Kleeberg focuses his practice on private mergers and acquisitions, predominantly for private equity and other financial investors. He also represents German and international strategic investors as bidders or sellers in auction processes, and has extensive experience advising clients on the purchase and restructuring of large companies in Germany.

"The addition of Christian is a crucial step in continuing to expand our European private equity offering," says David Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank. "Christian brings a unique combination of extensive M&A and private equity experience on a global scale."

Before joining Fried Frank, Kleeberg was a partner at Taylor Wessing. He received his doctorate in 2005 and his law degree in 2001 from the University of Münster, and his undergraduate degree in law and business in 1997 from the University of Hamburg. He is admitted to practice in Germany.

Dr Kleeberg is recommended in the JUVE Handbook, the National Review of German Commercial Law Firms, which describes him as "a good analyst" and "very strong negotiator."
