Joanna Hislop named an independent administrator at CDC International Capital

CDC International Capital has named Joanna Hislop as an independent administrator and member of the company’s investment committee.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and Sciences Po in Paris, as well as a holder of an MBA from Harvard Business School, Hislop started her career in 1995 at Goldman Sachs in London, where she was Managing Director within direct alternative investments, the department in charge of the bank’s private equity funds and private debt.

Following this, she spent six years as a partner and investment committee member at Park Square Capital, a European investment fund based in London.

As an investor, Hislop was a specialist in private equity operations, LBOs and corporate recovery.

She replaces Véronique Morali on the administration council, whose mandate had expired. She will also preside over the audit committee.

Laurent Vigier, CEO of CDC IC, says: “I would like to give my sincerest thanks to Véronique Morali, who has honoured us with her confidence and competence since the beginning of the original project. Her vision and her diligence have massively contributed to the successful deployment of CDC IC on the markets. I am absolutely delighted to be able to welcome Joanna Hislop. Her experience in private equity and her knowledge of institutional investors will be precious for us in the development of CDC International Capital, which from now on intends to accelerate its support for the growth of French businesses, and their internationalisation, with the cooperation of their respective foreign partners.”
