Hamilton Lane makes senior promotions in London

Hamilton Lane, a global private markets asset management firm, has promoted Vesna Sipp and Richard Hope to Managing Director.

Sipp joined Hamilton Lane 10 years ago and has been instrumental in developing strategic client relationships throughout the EMEA investor community. Previously a senior member of Hamilton Lane’s Fund Investment team, Vesna has also been integrally involved in sourcing, evaluating and monitoring primary fund opportunities across the EMEA region.

A member of Hamilton Lane’s Global Investment Team, Richard leads the firm’s Secondaries and Co-Investment activities in EMEA and actively participates on a number of prominent Private Equity Fund advisory boards. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2011, Richard worked as a Director with Alliance Trust Equity Partners, where he helped establish its private equity fund investment business by building out a portfolio of European Private Equity Fund investments.

“Since the establishment of our London office in 2004, Hamilton Lane has continued to expand and cement our presence across the European private markets landscape,” says Jim Strang, Head of Europe at Hamilton Lane. “Vesna and Richard have each made significant contributions to the growth of our business in Europe and they form a key part of our global leadership team. These promotions reflect the continuing growth in our activities and in the demands of our clients across the region, as well as our commitment to developing top talent in London and around the world.”
