Alliant opens New Orleans office

Alliant has expanded its presence in the Gulf Coast region with the opening of a New Orleans office, which will be manned by Christian Chauvin and Noah Hardie.

The pair have joined the company’s Alliant Americas division to provide insurance and risk management solutions to clients in a range of industries and disciplines.

“The addition of Christian and Noah provides a unique opportunity for us to expand both our regional influence and service offerings,” says Bob Bennetsen, Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director, Alliant Americas. “As an organisation dedicated to specialisation and local expertise, their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience, both in New Orleans and internationally, will be a tremendous asset to our clients.”

Chauvin joins Alliant as First Vice President with experience serving a broad array of industries, including marine, oil and gas, financial services, real estate, private equity, construction, and many others. Prior to joining Alliant, Chauvin was a Vice President with a full-service regional insurance brokerage firm, where he produced and managed some of the agency’s largest and most high-profile clients.

Chauvin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

Hardie is a former FBI officer and US diplomat with a breadth of experience in the public and private sectors who will also serve as First Vice President. Prior to joining Alliant, Hardie was a Lead Task Force Officer with the FBI, serving as a State Department Representative to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and acting as a liaison among numerous government agencies. The former US Air Force Captain also has experience as a Chief Financial Officer in the construction industry.

Hardie holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the US Air Force Academy and an advanced certificate in international maritime law from the International Maritime Law Institute in Malta.
