Didier Patry has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of France Brevets. He reports to the Board of Directors chaired by Philippe Caïla.
Patry succeeds Jean-Charles Hourcade who has decided to pursue other career interests. Jean-Charles Hourcade will provide him with full support in this transition period and will continue to support some of France Brevets’ strategic initiatives.

France Brevets is today a major player in the monetisation of intellectual property and patent portfolios of European companies. Patents must remain more than ever in the heart of the strategy of innovative companies. Patry’s assignment is to pursue France Brevets’ purpose which consists in supporting companies to better value and protect their strategic patent positions, their real growth drivers, on international markets”, said Philippe Caïela, Chairman of France Brevets.
Patry has gained a strong experience in France and abroad, mainly within large industrial corporates and consulting firms, in the creation, administration and strategic management of assets linked to intellectual property.
