Law firm Gattai Minoli Agostinelli & Partners, with a team composed by partner Cataldo Piccarreta, senior associate Lorenzo Fabbrini and trainee Maria Giulia De Cesari, has advised the Italian software firm TeamSystem on the acquisition of 100 per cent of E-conomic International, a Danish enterprise specialising in cloud accounting programs.
TeamSystem exercised the option to acquire the remaining 60 per cent of E-conomic’s share capital, after initially obtaining a 40% stake in the company in March 2016.
The transaction allows TeamSystem to create a cloud centre of excellence. E-conomic’s headquarters will remain in Copenaghen and will enable TeamSystem to assist not only Italian SMEs, but also enterprises active in Germany, UK and Southern Europe – where E-conomic has more than 2,500 active clients – in their accounting digitalisation projects.
