Venture Global LNG has closed its fifth round of equity investment, again through a private Reg D transaction.
The offering raised additional capital of USD15 million, bringing the total capital raised to date to over USD280 million.
The proceeds will fund Venture Global's liquefied natural gas (LNG) development activities for its proposed export facilities in Louisiana.
Co-chief executives Mike Sabel and Bob Pender say: "We are pleased to continue to successfully develop and optimize our projects, hit our milestones and, as a result, raise additional equity.
