Denver-based private equity firm Revelstoke Capital Partners has expanded its team with two new operating partners – Steve Geringer, chairman of AmSurg Corp, and Greg Steil, founder of ATI Physical Therapy.
Geringer and Steil will also join the board of directors of Fast Pace Urgent Care, Revelstoke’s newest portfolio company.

Geringer is the chairman of AmSurg, an owner and operator of ambulatory surgery centres and provider of outsourced physician services. AmSurg intends to merge with Envision Healthcare, which offers medical transportation services and an array of physician services. The combined companies’ current market capitalisation is approximately USD8 billion.
Geringer is also the chairman of Addus HomeCare, a provider of home-based personal care services, and serves on the board of several private healthcare services corporations. Geringer was previously president and CEO of PCS Health Systems, a pharmacy benefits manager which was later acquired by Eli Lilly.
Steil is the founder of ATI Physical Therapy, one of the largest physical therapy providers in the US. Steil built ATI Physical Therapy from one clinic to over 550 clinics across 19 states. Steil founded ATI Physical Therapy in 1996 and managed the business through four private equity sale transactions. Steil served as CEO for 18 years and chairman for two years.
Steil serves as a mentor to the Telluride Venture Accelerator programme.
