Venture and growth investor Beringea has strengthened its UK investment team with three new hires including investment director, Eyal Malinger.
These appointments continue the growth in the investment team over the last 18 months, linked to an increase in funds under management.
Malinger joins Beringea from Countrywide where he oversaw investments in property technology. Having also held positions at Oaktree Capital and McKinsey & Company, he has a proven track record of identifying and managing investments, working with entrepreneurs and growing businesses.
At Beringea, he will be leveraging his expertise in a number of technology verticals to help diversify Beringea’s investments and execute new deals as well as assisting portfolio companies to deliver growth. He will also sit on the boards of Perfect Channel and Poq, two of Beringea’s high growth technology investments focusing on online auctions and app commerce.
Strengthening the investment team further are Olivia Cramer and Philip Edmondson-Jones who join Beringea as associates. Cramer previously worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Edmondson-Jones joins from OC&C Strategy Consultants. At Beringea, they will be responsible for sourcing and analysing new deals, due diligence on potential investments and monitoring portfolio companies.
