Campbell Lutyens appoints Gerald Cooper as partner in New York

Private equity firm Campbell Lutyens has expanded its US activities with the appointment of Gerald Cooper as a partner.

Cooper will be based in the firm’s New York office and will be focused on the development of Campbell Lutyens’ US secondary advisory practice.
 
Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, Cooper spent 12 years at UBS advising on secondary transactions most recently as global co-head of secondary advisory in the private fund group in New York.
 
Prior to joining UBS, Cooper worked at Advantage Capital Partners focusing on direct investments in the Midwest and Southeast and before that worked in the corporate finance and equity capital markets team of Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust Company in New York.
 
Cooper has advised on over USD17 billion worth of secondary transactions including both LP focused and GP-led mandates.
