100 Women in Hedge Funds rebrands as 100 Women in Finance

100 Women in Hedge Funds has launched a new brand and formally changed its name to 100 Women in Finance.

The organisation says the change reflects its growth over the past 15 years from a small group of women working in the hedge fund industry in New York to a global network of more than 15,000 professionals across the finance and alternative investment industries.

As part of the new brand refresh, 100 Women in Finance unveiled a new logo and visual identity system and introduced a redesigned website, accessible at www.100women.org.

"100 Women was among the first organisations to focus on empowering women in their careers in the world of finance," says Sonia Gardner, chair of 100 Women in Finance and president, managing partner and co-founder of Avenue Capital Group. "Our new name and brand identity honour that legacy, but also reflect the dramatic evolution our organisation has undergone over the past 15 years.

“Today, our global membership of more than 15,000 professionals is drawn from hedge funds, but also includes professionals in alternative investments more broadly, as well as the wider finance industry. As an organisation, we are proud to provide opportunities for peer engagement, philanthropic and educational initiatives for professional women across every career phase – from the earliest stages through to the most experienced, senior levels."

"100 Women in Finance is an organisation focused on making peer connections, and with 21 locations across three continents, we can offer both a local presence and opportunities for global business connections for our members," says Amanda Pullinger (pictured), CEO of 100 Women in Finance. "As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we're extremely excited to launch new digital resources that will engage members and non-members alike and help to involve them in our initiatives. We are also pleased that our website can be a platform to showcase the exceptional women role models in our field."
