DW Healthcare Partners (DWHP), a healthcare-focused private equity firm, has promoted Aly Champsi to managing director and partner.
“Since Aly’s arrival at our firm in 2014, he has been an integral part of our investment team,” says DWHP founder and managing partner, Andrew Carragher. “We are excited to acknowledge his dedication and look forward to his continued leadership in this new position.”
Champsi will be responsible for overseeing due diligence, structuring and execution of investment opportunities from the DWHP Toronto office. He will continue to serve on three boards in DWHP’s portfolio.
Champsi brings 13 years of investment and transaction experience. He started his career in investment banking at BMO Nesbitt Burns, followed by consulting at Mercer Management Consulting, and 10 years of private equity experience at Clairvest Group and DW Healthcare Partners.
