Inflexion’s Reed & Mackay and CableCom make bolt-on acquisitions

Inflexion has supported two bolt-on acquisitions through its investee businesses Reed & Mackay and CableCom.

Reed & Mackay has expanded its US presence acquiring the Chicago based Gray’s Travel Management. Reed & Mackay is a corporate travel management company delivering a personalised service through cutting edge technology.
 
The acquisition enables Reed & Mackay’s clients to benefit from an enhanced service offering through extended global reach, enhanced buying power and deeper local market knowledge.
 
Mark Williams, partner, Inflexion, says: “We are delighted to complete our first acquisition for Reed & Mackay within six months of our investment. This builds on its US offering and supports the delivery of recently won local contracts.”
 
Cablecom has acquired independent internet service provider WarwickNet. The acquisition expands CableCom’s offering and growth potential with complimentary and innovative solutions developed by WarwickNet, which delivers high speed connectivity solutions to companies located at business parks, industrial estates, metropolitan areas and multi-tenancy buildings.

CableCom has long been the number one provider of internet to high density purpose built student accommodation, and more recently the private rental sector. The business has grown strongly during our tenure, now serving more than 350,000 users across Europe and the UK.
