GenNx360 appoints managing partner for investment team

GenNx360 Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm investing in middle market industrial manufacturing and business services companies, has appointed Daphne Dufresne as a managing partner.

Dufresne will be actively engaged in all aspects of GenNx360's investment activities and portfolio management, and will be a voting member of the firm's investment committee.

Prior to joining GenNx360, Dufresne was a founding partner and managing director of RLJ Equity Partners where she was responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments, management of the firm, fundraising, chaired a number of the firm's portfolio company boards, and was a member of RLJ's investment committee.

Prior to RLJ Equity Partners, Dufresne was a venture partner with Parish Capital Advisors, where she initiated and led their direct investment and co-investment programme. She was also a principal at Weston Presidio. Dufresne began her investment career as an associate director in Bank of Scotland's structured finance group, focusing on management buyouts in Europe. Prior to that, Dufresne served as an associate in Accenture's (formerly Andersen Consulting) strategic services group.

"I am extremely pleased to welcome Daphne to the firm," says Ron Blaylock, a founder and managing partner at GenNx360 Capital Partners. "Daphne will enhance our already strong investment team and play an integral role in helping us create value for the GenNx360 portfolio. She will be heavily involved in evaluating and executing new investments as well adding value to exiting holdings, including add-on acquisitions."

Dufresne says: "I have known the firm for quite a while, and strongly believe in the unique blend of GenNx360's experienced operating partners and investment acumen. I'm excited to join and contribute to its investment platform."
