NXT Capital expands asset management team with new Head of Institutional Marketing

NXT Capital has appointed Linda Chaffin (pictured) as Head of Institutional Marketing. Chaffin's responsibilities include expanding the firm's fund raising and investor relations efforts, in which she will partner with Kelli O'Connell, NXT's Head of Asset Management.

Chaffin will spearhead capital raising activities for NXT's multi-investor loan funds and single investor SMAs. She will further enhance NXT's relationships with insurance companies, public and corporate pension plans, foundations, endowments and other institutional LPs. She will also strengthen NXT's relationships with consultants who work with these investors.

Chaffin brings 20 years of fund raising, investor relations, private equity, corporate finance and M&A investment banking experience to NXT. Most recently, Chaffin served as Senior Vice President for Pathway Capital Management, where she was responsible for raising new capital and developing and maintaining investor relationships for private equity and private debt strategies. Previously, Chaffin led fund raising and investor relations for Marwit Capital, and held positions at GE Capital and JP Morgan Chase's Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

"We're delighted to have a professional of Linda's caliber join the NXT Capital team and help lead our institutional marketing effort," says Robert Radway, Chairman and CEO. "Linda's reputation, relationships and expertise will enhance NXT Capital's position as a leading manager of middle-market focused private credit funds."

"I'm thrilled to join NXT Capital's talented team," says Chaffin. "It is of paramount importance to work with products I believe in, and the combination of NXT's experienced and cohesive team and strong investment performance along with the compelling nature of middle market private debt for institutional investors makes NXT the ideal opportunity."
