RCP makes multiple promotions

RCP Advisors has promoted Dave McCoy to managing partner; Alex Abell, Nell Blatherwick, Michael Feinglass and Andy Nelson to partner; and Ross Koenig and Michael Rice to vice president.

McCoy joined RCP in 2010 and has 15 years of private equity experience. Heis the portfolio manager for RCP’s co-investment funds and maintains broader activities throughout the investment function. He is also on the investment committee and active as an advisory board member of several underlying funds and portfolio companies.

Abell joined RCP in 2015 and has 15 years of private equity experience. Abell is on the investment committee and is responsible for the identification and analysis of potential fund investments and managing RCP’s research efforts.
 
Blatherwick has been with RCP since its inception and has 15 years of private equity experience. He is responsible for the coordination of RCP’s legal affairs and serves as the firm’s chief compliance officer.
 
Feinglass joined RCP in 2004 and has 13 years of private equity experience. He is responsible for managing the business development function of the firm. This includes sourcing investment opportunities, as well as overseeing the firm’s fundraising efforts.
 
Nelson has been with RCP since 2008 and has nine years of private equity experience. Nelson is chief financial officer and is responsible for managing the fund administration function of RCP. He works closely with the investment team to report on underlying funds in the portfolio, as well as with the accounting team to report on financial performance to the limited partners.
 
Koenig joined RCP in 2012 and had previously worked with RCP’s investment team as a summer intern. He is responsible for leading the RCP’s data analytics efforts to assist in the evaluation of all private equity investments, as well as overseeing RCP’s database and related technologies.
 
Rice has been with RCP since 2012. He is responsible for supporting the business development function of the firm. This includes managing the firm’s fundraising efforts across all the firm’s funds, and working with limited partners across all geographies.
