Ipes makes senior appointments in Guernsey and London

Ipes, a provider of outsourced services to private equity in Europe, has appointed Sumindra Bains-Cleary and David Bateman.

Bains-Cleary joins Ipes as head of commercial finance based in London while Bateman joins Ipes as a manager in Guernsey.
 
Bains-Cleary is an experienced finance manager whose most recent role was for Xchanging, where she spent five years, latterly as corporate development and corporate strategy manager. Prior to that, she spent five years in KPMG’s corporate finance department, specialising in cross-border acquisitions and disposals. 
 
Reporting to the CFO, Bains-Cleary will be responsible for providing management information and business intelligence across the Ipes Group.
 
Bateman joins Ipes Guernsey as a manager. He is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced fund administration professional. Bateman’s most recent role was as head of operations in Singapore and the British Virgin Islands for Conifer Financial Services. In prior roles Bateman has led teams in Ireland and the Cayman Islands whilst working at UBS.
 
Bateman will be responsible for managing an administration team responsible for a number of private equity funds.
