Gridiron Capital names senior MD

Gridiron Capital has promoted Kevin Jackson to Senior Managing Director and a member of the firm’s investment committee. 

Jackson joined Gridiron Capital in 2010 as a Vice President and was promoted to Managing Director in 2012. He is a Director on the Boards of several of Gridiron Capital’s portfolio companies including Dent Wizard, Rough Country and Tokyo Joe’s. Gridiron Capital recently closed its third fund in October 2016.

Prior to joining Gridiron Capital, Jackson was a Senior Associate at CCMP Capital, a global private equity firm specialising in buyouts and growth equity investments. He was responsible for all aspects of transaction execution and portfolio company management, primarily in the healthcare, industrial and consumer sectors. Jackson served as an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Global Industrial & Services group in the New York office. Jackson graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from Oberlin College with a BA in Economics & Latin American Studies and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he earned membership in Beta Gamma Sigma.
