NYSE Euronext partners eighth Smallcap Event

NYSE Euronext (NYX) is a partner of the eighth Smallcap Event organised by CF&B Communication on 15 and 16 April at the Salons Hoche in Paris.

The annual forum attracted around 180 investors from the euro zone and 45 companies listed on NYSE Euronext’s European market with market capitalisations of under EUR500m.

CF&B Communication created the first Smallcap Event in 2005 to help listed companies meet institutional investors and promote small-cap growth by forging links with fund managers that are potential investors.

“NYSE Euronext is proud to support the Smallcap Event for the eighth year running,” says Marc Lefèvre, head of European business development and client coverage, listings Europe at NYSE Euronext. “Effective communication lies at the heart of a market’s agreement with its issuers. It is absolutely essential that company management teams spend time meeting with investors, developing ties, and exchanging views and information. And events organised by agencies such as CF&B Communication offer outstanding opportunities to network and raise their profile.”

“We are delighted that NYSE Euronext has joined us once again for this year’s eighth Smallcap Event, offering smaller companies an excellent opportunity to promote their business to institutional investors,” says Francis Bader, chief executive of CF&B Communication. “The large number of fund managers registered this year confirms specialised investors’ ongoing interest in this asset class, which is very encouraging.”
