Rothstein Kass has hired Lisa Donn Sergi as a principal and leader of the firm’s international tax practice on the West Coast.
Sergi brings nearly two decades of tax and legal experience on domestic and international tax matters. She will work out of the firm’s Beverly Hills office.
In overseeing the firm’s West Coast international tax practice, Sergi will advise US-based individuals, closely held businesses, entertainment companies and entertainers, private equity firms and venture capital funds on domestic and international tax matters across a broad range of transactions.
Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Sergi served as a tax director for WTAS and a tax lawyer for O’Melveny & Myers, where she specialised in international tax planning with a focus on closely held businesses, private equity and venture capital funds.

Sergi serves as a member of the local board for the American Friends of Hebrew University and is a national board trustee for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation. Additionally, she has authored numerous papers exploring the tax implications of alternative transactions.
