FF&P Private Equity appoints Kenny Miller as finance director

FF&P Private Equity, a UK lower-mid market growth private equity investment firm, has appointed Kenny Miller to the newly created role of finance director.

Miller joins FF&P Private Equity from Hutton Collins Capital Partners, the London based mid-market private equity house, where he was financial controller.

Prior to Hutton Collins, Miller held private equity fund accounting roles at 3i, where he was fund controller for the USD1.2bn Indian Infrastructure Fund and fund accountant for the GBP3bn European Buyout Fund.

Prior to joining 3i he also held fund roles at State Street and Bank of New York.

Miller’s appointment marks a further step in the development of the FF&P Private Equity team as it continues its focus on the lower end of the UK mid-market.  He will be responsible for the reporting and fund administration for existing and future funds.

The FF&P Private Equity business is a part of the wider asset management group of Fleming Family & Partners, although the large bulk of its funding has been raised from external investors seeking to access growth private equity opportunities in the UK.

Recent investments made by FF&P Private Equity include David Phillips, a furniture services business supplying the growing letting market, Sohonet, a media communications business, and Quintex, which provides energy efficiency solutions to commercial kitchens.

David Barbour, co-head of FF&P Private Equity, says: “Kenny’s extensive experience of the institutional market will complement our growth plans and his appointment to the newly created role of finance director reflects our desire to grow the senior ranks of the team.”
