Appleby appoints Woolf as partner

Offshore law firm Appleby has appointed Benjamin Woolf as partner.

Woolf is a member of the corporate and commercial practice group and specialises in structured finance and corporate transactions.

He also works on mergers and acquisitions, asset finance and subscription finance.

Managing partner of the Cayman office, Bryan Hunter, says: “Benjamin is an exemplary lawyer and his recent promotion to partner is in recognition of not only his hard work, skill and expertise but also the impressive growth of Appleby’s corporate and finance team.”

Prior to joining Appleby, Woolf practised at Clifford Chance and Mayer Brown where he worked primarily on securitisation and other asset-backed financings.
