Tom Bratkovich joins Hycroft as managing director

Hycroft, a specialty investment bank focused exclusively on the alternative investments market, has appointed Tom Bratkovich as managing director.

Bratkovich will head Hycroft's San Francisco office and provide coverage for the US West Coast and select Asia-Pacific markets.

At Hycroft, Bratkovich will lead the firm's limited partner advisory and portions of the firm's transactional practice, have a strong role in the distribution of primary and secondary offerings, and play a key role in Hycroft's anticipated principal investment practice supporting Hycroft's general partner clients in their financing and restructuring needs.

Scott A Myers, managing director of Hycroft, says: "Tom is an exceptional advisor with unique insights on best practices and leading-edge investment analytics, which he has provided for years to sophisticated private market investors.  He is the ideal professional to build a market-leading limited partner advisory, transactional, and restructuring practice."

Prior to joining Hycroft, Bratkovich was a director at LP Capital Advisors, an alternative investment advisory firm where worked with a mix of large pension plans, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and funds-of-funds.  He previously served as the chief financial officer for a high-profile non-profit organisation where he managed their real estate portfolio.  Prior, he was a vice president of investments for a Fortune 100 family office where he developed a new direct venture capital platform and fund investment opportunities.
