DLA Piper has appointed Andy Kolacki as a partner in the London Debt Finance team, part of the Finance & Projects group. Kolacki joins the firm from Latham & Watkins.
Having joined Latham & Watkins as an associate in 2005, A Kolacki ndy was subsequently promoted to partner in 2009. Prior to that, he was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for five years.
Kolacki has broad experience acting for lenders, private equity sponsors and borrowers in connection with domestic and international acquisitions, leveraged financings and restructurings. His practice includes both senior and subordinated capital structures, including second lien and mezzanine, with particular expertise in relation to bank/bond financings and transatlantic financings using US TLB style structures.
In addition to regularly working on domestic financings, Andy's practice is largely cross-border in nature often with a European and/or US focus.
