Luxembourg-based independent fund serviced provider European Fund Administration has selected FrontInvest, eFront’s software solution for alternative asset management, to support its EFA Private Equity fund servicing business, which also handles real estate funds.
According to eFront, FrontInvest will allow EFA to connect and automate its middle and back-office processes, increasing its operational efficiency and extending its service capabilities.
‘We chose FrontInvest primarily for its advanced features for accounting and complex fund structure management, but also because it reflects the way our customers operate and manage their investments,’ says Pascal Leclerc, head of EFA Private Equity.
‘This aspect is crucial so that we can provide a range of services adapted to the various requirements of the actors of this constantly evolving market. In addition to Luxembourg, FrontInvest will also help us develop our offering in France, and more generally towards international markets.’
According to Lipper, EFA is the largest fund administrator in Luxembourg with 1,425 locally-domiciled investment funds under administration, accounting for 13.01 per cent of the market total, and the firm is also active in France and Italy.
With more than 160 customers in the private equity, real estate investment, banking and insurance industries in more than 20 countries, eFront has offices in Paris, London, Dubai, Bonn, Jersey and New York.
Founded in 1999, the firm provides business software solutions to the financial industry, specialising in the areas of private equity, alternative investments, and risk management.
