Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has announced that Jesús Olmos Clavijo has joined the firm as a managing director and head of infrastructure in Europe.
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has announced that Jesús Olmos Clavijo has joined the firm as a managing director and head of infrastructure in Europe.
Olmos, who will be based in London, joins KKR from Endesa where he held the position of managing director for corporate development.
He was a member of the executive board reporting to the chairman and chief executive, responsible for corporate M&A and operations outside Spain and Latin America.
From 2004 to 2008 Olmos was chief executive of Endesa Europa where he led investments in a number of energy infrastructure assets around the world, including in Portugal, Italy, France, Poland, Turkey, Greece, Ireland and North Africa.
He developed the European position of Endesa that was sold last June for a total enterprise value of EUR11bn with value creation of more than EUR6bn over seven years.

Earlier KKR announced that Peter McKillop would join the firm as director of global communications, effective 17 November.
McKillop will be responsible for overseeing all external and internal communications for KKR and will report to Kenneth Mehlman, managing director and head of global public affairs.
McKillop was most recently senior vice president and head of corporate communications for Bank of America’s consumer and small business bank.
